Over the Summer of 2022, I studied media ethics and media literacy in Paris, France, through Global Education Abroad at the University of Oregon. The School of Journalism and Communication contacted me in the Fall about writing an informative blog post on my experience. I worked with the SOJC for over a month to produce the piece that now lives on the #LifeasaJStudent blog, and was even placed in the 2022 SOJC Yearbook, which is a roundup of all the best stories from the year. This role taught me the process of publishing a post for an entity outside of my personal brand.
